ICONIC Base Oil Solutions
ICONIC Base Oil Solutions has been appointed as the official distributor for Chevron Oronite’s lubricant and fuel additive products in Brazil. The Business Unit boasts a comprehensive portfolio and has been actively distributing Chevron’s Premium Base Oil since 2023.
According to Marcelo Guimarães, executive manager of ICONIC Base Oil Solutions: “This is another relevant addition to our premium portfolio, which is increasingly complete to meet the demands of the Brazilian market. This further reinforces our broad relationship with Chevron in South America”. The company already distributes products from Chevron (Nexbase), ACELEN and, more recently, Nynas.

The distribution agreement is effective on June of 2025 and includes the following products: OLOA® Lubricant additives, OGA® Aftermarket Gasoline Additive and PARATONE® Viscosity Modifiers.
Key-player in Brazil
ICONIC Base Oil Solutions is a key player within the Brazilian territory in the distribution of high-value Base Oils and, now adding fuel and lubricant additives into its portfolio.
Guimarães reinforces that this is also an opportunity to engage with Chevron Oronite customers through the value-adding service and leading the one-stop shop concept in Brazil by combining logistics with premium base oils and additive solutions.
This portfolio expansion in the relationship with Chevron will help to further support customers in Brazil, with tailor-made distribution solutions for Chevron Oronite products in the Lubricants and Fuels market.

ICONIC has created a new business structure that is fully dedicated to base oil commercialization and managed independently from its lubricants business.
It operates with a highly qualified technical team, offers an exclusive terminal in Rio de Janeiro by the port for ship unloading, and provides different storage sites with shorter lead times for customer deliveries.
