GM has already started, in the United States, production of the second batch of its electric car, Bolt EV destined for Brazil. The 50 units of the first batch, available for pre-sale last November, quickly sold out.

The new batch will arrive at the selected dealerships in February 2020.

The electric cross over is being produced in a single top-of-the-line PREMIER version and will already come equipped with a new generation battery that provides a range of up to 416 km.

The Bolt will be available for twelve Brazilian cities: São Paulo, Campinas, São José dos Campos, Rio de Janeiro, Brasília, Belo Horizonte, Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis, Joinville, Recife and Vitória.

“The Bolt EV brings together features that symbolize the future vision of the car and we were surprised by the initial interest of consumers in the product. In common, they are people connected to innovation, mobility and sustainability ”, says the marketing director of GM South America, Hermann Mahnke.
