It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dear colleague Vinicius dos Santos Mesquita last Saturday, October 12, in Rio de Janeiro, victim of a heart attack.
Vinicius Mesquita worked at Chevron for 28 years and held the position of Category Manager for South America since 2010, working in the downstream base oils business, adding value to relationships within Latin America and strengthening the partnership with Iconic.
Communicative, cheerful and a great business partner, Vinicius was known for his passion for surfing, his excellent humor and the kindness with which he related to his partners and coworkers. Vinicius leaves behind his wife Claudia and five children.
The wake took place on Monday, October 14, at the Jardim da Saudade cemetery, in Sulacap.
