COSAN RAÍZEN
SAO PAULO (Reuters) – The energy group Cosan said that the CEO of the company and its subsidiary Cosan Logística, Marcos Marinho Lutz, will step down on April 1 and be replaced by Luis Henrique Cals de Beauclair Guimarães, current president Raízen Energia and Raízen Combustíveis.
In a relevant fact, Cosan said that the succession proposal was approved by the companies’ boards of directors and added that Lutz will start to dedicate himself exclusively to the group’s boards and committees.
Raízen will now be chaired by Ricardo Dell Aquila Mussa, current executive vice president of Logistics, Distribution and Trading at Raízen, who has been in the group since 2007.
In parallel, Cosan informed that the Legal Vice President, Marcelo de Souza Scarcela Portela, will also step down in April 2020. He will be succeeded by the current legal director, Maria Rita de Carvalho Drummond.
