SIMEPETRO
SIMEPETRO – the Association of Producers and Importers of Lubricants – decided at a general meeting held on April 16 to restructure its management system with the aim of further streamlining and modernizing its internal processes.
This modernization consists of the formation of three administrative nuclei, namely:
- The Management and Governance Board, which will be responsible for the association’s main deliberations and decisions;
- The Finance Board, which will annually analyze the association’s accounts and issue an opinion for analysis at the assembly;
- The Chief Executive Officer who will work on the association’s day-to-day activities and be responsible for executing the deliberations and guidelines of the Management and Governance Board. Nilson Fernando Morsch, who already held the position of Executive Director of the Association, was unanimously chosen to occupy the position of Chief Executive Officer of Simepetro.
With a curriculum that includes a degree in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA in Strategic and Business Management abroad, Nilson Morsch also has a post-graduate degree in Marketing and Coaching and has worked as an Advisory Board Member for major oil companies, and will now lead Simepetro.
The organization also thanked Mr. Carlos A. Ristum for his 18 years of leadership and dedication to the growth of Simepetro, with distinguished work and a modern vision in the management of the Association, serving as President of Simepetro from 2007 to 2022 and as President Councilor from 2022 to April 2025.
