Sustainability in the lubricants industry
Sustainability in the lubricants industry will be the main theme of the largest lubricants event in Latin America, the XV Meet The Market International Conference – South America, promoted by Editora Onze. A panel of experts from the segment will discuss the main points of this theme, and technical lectures will show how both additive and base oil technology can contribute significantly to this development.
The event, which will take place on July 1 and 2, 2025, at the Windsor Barra Hotel in Rio de Janeiro, expects to bring together more than 500 participants and will have an exhibition area with 30 stands from national and international companies, which will present their products and services, as well as their visions for the lubricants segment in Brazil and worldwide.
The sustainability panel will be coordinated by Roberta Teixeira, Director of Technology and Leader of the Sustainability Committee at ICONIC Lubrificantes S.A., and will feature Ana Mandelli, Distribution Manager at IBP, Valéria Amoroso Lima, Chair of the Board of Directors at MGS – Minas Gerais and Vice President of AMBIOLUC, Aylla Kipper. The participants will bring specialized and comprehensive insights into what has been thought and done in the lubricants segment for the sustainability of their activities.
Technical lectures with national and international experts will address the importance of using high-quality base oils and additives, aiming at energy efficiency and reduced consumption.
The XV Meet The Market International Conference will also present a broad overview of the Brazilian lubricant market and important aspects of the international base oil market.
