Lubvap and Condat sign partnership

Lubvap and Condat sign partnership – Lubvap Special Lubricants, a distribution company with over 15 years in the industrial lubrication solutions market, has entered into a commercial partnership with Condat, a French company that manufactures and develops lubricants, coatings, and specialty products. The agreement grants Lubvap the distribution rights for Condat’s complete line of lubricants and specialty products, which serve sectors such as steelmaking, forging, and metallurgy.

Condat has a recognized track record in the aeronautical market, with approvals from Boeing, Airbus, and Bombardier, in addition to an approval process with Embraer already in its final stages. The two companies have more than 25 years of experience in the segment.

The partnership aims to meet the need for high-performance technical solutions with less environmental impact in the São Paulo industrial park—Condat’s focus.

The initiative came from Lubvap, which identified a gap in the domestic market for products with more specialized technical specifications: “We noticed that our customers in sectors such as steelmaking and forging needed more technical and specialized solutions. Condat has a portfolio that meets exactly this need, with products developed for extreme operating conditions,” says Luiz Maldonado, CEO of Lubvap Special Lubricants.

The partnership, which is in its initial implementation phase, already incorporates Condat’s main products into Lubvap’s portfolio. Among them are soluble fluids for machining, grinding, stamping, and cold rolling, as well as integral oils suitable for all machining operations, such as turret lathes, automatic lathes, milling machines, boring machines, broaching machines, threading machines, drills, and saws.

The line also includes technical greases for various applications, from the simplest to the most complex, which require resistance to high temperatures, high loads, high speeds, and high adhesion. The portfolio is completed by mold release agents for forging and quenching fluids for heat treatment.

The flagship product in the Brazilian market is the latest generation of MECAGREEN soluble oils, which incorporate innovative and responsible raw materials. Formulated from an exclusive set of synthetic esters from renewable sources, these products offer extremely high performance in metalworking processes, providing longer tool life, better surface finish, cleaner processes/machines, and reduced drag and water consumption.

Joyce Ramos, commercial director at Condat do Brasil, explains that they identified precise criteria for choosing a partner capable of maintaining the brand’s standard of excellence in customer service. According to the executive, the decision was based on an analysis of the distributor’s operational maturity and its ability to offer differentiated technical delivery in regions with high industrial demand. “The technical expertise of its commercial team, its location in an important industrial hub, and its reputation in the market were decisive. We needed a distributor that understood the technical complexity of our products. The geographical proximity between our factory in Bom Jesus dos Perdões and Lubvap’s headquarters in São José dos Campos facilitates logistics and allows for more agile support,” adds Joyce.

Condat seeks to expand its brand as a benchmark in specialized lubrication in the region by using the Lubvap network as its main channel. For Lubvap, the goal is to advance its position as a supplier of highly complex solutions. “We want the main steel and metallurgical players in the region to associate the Lubvap name with Condat technology in two years,” says Luiz.

The next steps involve a structured launch plan. Joint technical visits to strategic customers, industry webinars for maintenance and production engineers, and certified training for Lubvap’s entire commercial and technical team are scheduled. The goal is that, by the end of the next quarter, the sales force will be able to conduct preliminary diagnostics and recommend Condat solutions.

Condat’s main differentiators involve the “Lubriscore” system, a proprietary methodology that classifies the environmental impact of products throughout their life cycle. The company maintains continuous investment in research, with its own laboratories that develop specific formulations for extreme operating conditions. Its long-standing commitment to sustainability led Condat to be one of the first in the industry to develop biodegradable lubricants and to obtain the Ecovadis platinum medal.

Looking ahead, Condat plans to use the partnership as a basis for expanding its operations in Brazil. “We see Lubvap as the ideal partner to replicate our success in other Brazilian industrial hubs. This is the first step in a collaboration that we intend to extend nationwide,” concluded Joyce.
