New lubricant codes for SIMP – On October 1, ANP published on its website the new support table with product codes that must be adopted by regulated agents in the lubricants segment (producers, collectors, re-refiners, and foreign trade agents that move lubricating oils).
The new codes must be used in the movement declarations for the month of October, to be sent through the Product Movement Information System (SIMP) by November 15, in accordance with ANP Resolution No. 729/2018.
The new table, announced at the 2024 Lubricants Workshop, reduces the number of codes, aggregating similar products, in order to simplify the declarations and reduce inconsistencies in the reports, improving the quality of the information received and made available by the Agency’s dynamic panels.
The new table can be downloaded from the ANP Systems Center (https://csa.anp.gov.br/informacoes/simp), item “Click here to download the I-SIMP support tables” and then opening the file “T012-Codigos_de_produtos_20241001.xls”.
