Meet the Market International Conference
The XIII Meet the Market International Conference – South America, which will take place on June 20 and 21, 2023, in Rio de Janeiro, brings an agenda full of news. Two panels will discuss the Brazilian lubricants market and the dynamics of base oils in the supply chain. The two panels will feature leading companies and entities in the sector that will present their views on perspectives and challenges for a healthy and sustainable development of the market.
Critical points of the economy at the Meet the Market International Conference
To open the event, the traditional lecture on the Economic Panorama given by Jonathas Goulart, Chief Economist of the Federation of Industries of the State of Rio de Janeiro – FIRJAN, has already been confirmed, analyzing the critical points of the Economy for Brazil and the World and their impacts on the industrial sector.
The Brazilian Lubricants Market will have its numbers presented and analyzed by the Editor-in-Chief of Lubes em Foco magazine, Pedro Nelson Belmiro, and will also pass the floor to the CEO of Raízen Lubrificantes, Sandro Brito, who will show the vision of the great producer of lubricants for the market Brazilian, bringing all his experience of several years in large companies in the sector.
Two important panels
The panel on the Brazilian market will follow shortly after, with the participation of representatives from the main entities that bring together economic agents in Brazil, such as Valéria Amoroso Lima, Downstream Executive Director of the Brazilian Institute of Oil and Gas, which houses the major Brazilian distributors; Nilson Morsch, Executive Director of the Association of Lubricant Producers and Importers – Simepetro, with more than 52 lubricant producers and importers, and Laércio Kalauskas, Strategic Affairs Director, founder and former President of the Interstate Lubricant Trade Union, bringing together 56 affiliated.
The panel on base oils will feature the Executive Manager of Iconic Base Oil, Marcelo Guimarães; the Commercial Manager of Special Products at Petrobras, Ulysses Donadel; the Head of Special Projects at Acelen, Ângelo Cozzolino and the CEO of Lwart Soluções Ambientais, Thiago Trecenti. The panel will discuss the basic supply situation in Brazil, local production in refineries and by the Rerrefining industry, and imports at increasing levels.
The two panels will have the mediation of the Editor-in-Chief of Lubes em Foco magazine, Pedro Nelson Belmiro, who will also open the debate for the participation of the audience present.
Technology lectures at the Meet the Market International Conference
The second day of the event (6/21) will feature nine more lectures on technology, involving additives for special applications in industry, Extreme-Pressure components for gear oils, fluids for hybrid vehicles, railway lubricants, oils for heavy-duty engines and the new ILSAC GF-7 classification, in addition to a lecture on the technical aspects of injected packaging and label technology for lubricant packaging.
Gustavo Zamboni, director of Editora Onze, recalls that the demand is quite high, with the presence of several representatives of foreign companies, and that those interested must hurry because places are limited and registrations can be closed some time in advance.
